The first night I got my lab boxer cross puppy she slept with me on the couch. Then after that she slept in the bathroom, she didn't whine much in the bathroom because she got to bond with me. Also having another dog already in the home helps. My chocolate lab sleeps in? my parents room and she was fine as a puppy, your pup is just scared that its alone. Moving it to your room may help

I have owned 3 diff dogs (adopted lol) ;>im on my 4 puppy now and he is a Lab. He is very active (way more than any other puppy i have had) and he really doesn't wanna hear shizz right now? like he runs away and doesn't respond (Stubborn as hell) but he is fun to be around...or if you want a happy life with the puppy move him to your room and give that a try for awhile till he calms down:D hope this helps

Maybe he is scared :/ We had a puppy that did that, What we did is when we put her in her kennel we told her what was going to happen. sounds kinda stupid but it worked and after a while she stopped barking? and does fine now, But maybe your dog is different you could try having it your room but I wouldnt reccomend having them sleep with you unless he is trained

the best thing for a puppy after it has been removed from its mother and moved into a new home, is to sleep next to one of your beds the next few weeks. This causes the puppy to feel safe and more more quiet at night. This has worked for me and my dog (and a lot of other dog owners in this country and is recommended by our kennel club;-) Otherwise the risk of getting a very nervous dog when you leave it? alone in the future is big.

Good luck with whatever you decide! ^_^ My puggle and pit bull terrier sleep in their crates right next to our bed. We treat them for obeying the command 'in your box!' We also let them curl up on the bed and sleep with us from time to time, after they've had their baths and smell? lovely. :)

All puppies go through this when you bring them home for the first time. My great dane pup gave me such a hard time when we were trying to sleep. The fact is, some breeds are more social and need the comfort of someone in the room with them.? Labradors are VERY social and needy dogs. So its not a bad idea to have him in the same room. :)
